Sales Executive - Italian Events

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

The position

Exciting opportunity to sell exhibition space and sponsorship packages relating to events in Italy.  The position involves building relationships with existing clients, re-booking them and also undertaking research and developing new business through a variety of methods - phone, e-mail, networking and face to face meetings. Fluent Italian and English are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages to existing and new customers.
  • Achieve KPIs; revenue generation, maintaining call rates, consistent call management, accurate and timely administration.
  • Planning and Research; identify new prospects and sectors, build prospect lists and plan activity.
  • Follow up and close incoming sales leads; call new potential exhibitors; rebook previous exhibitors; attend other exhibitions to network with prospects; arrange and attend meetings to identify client requirements and maintain relationships.
  • Whilst the position is predominantly office based you will attend trade shows in Italy so this role will suit a person who enjoys working in the field as well as the office.

You

In addition to your language skills, you will have some experience in B2B media or event sales or a similar service sector. You should have a charismatic personality and excellent interpersonal skills.  Your commercial focus and quick response to client requirements helps you to build good client relationships, whilst achieving your goals. You will need to be well-presented, positive and confident with a well-organised approach and you should be ambitious and keen to do well.
