We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to provide first and second line technical support in a busy head office.

The Role

The role is based in team of three, in Sevenoaks and reports to the Head of IT.   You will be the first point of contact for incidents, faults and a range of service requests relating to hardware and software.  Providing excellent customer service, you will respond effectively to queries and requests from the business, taking ownership to ensure they are handled in an efficient, timely manner, in line with service objectives. 

You will also be expected to suggest efficiencies and service improvements in processes and applications and maintain accurate, up to date system documentation. You will contribute to ongoing IT initiatives and projects as required and should enjoy developing your IT knowledge.

The role requires some travel to other sites in the UK, in particular the London office and occasionally Leeds.

About You

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar IT support role in a professional environment.  You must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and should be capable of supporting users of various bespoke systems; network infrastructure and telephony systems.  Experience of CISCO networking and Avaya IP telephony solutions is desirable but training will be provided.

You are likely to be a graduate or have relevant technical qualifications and must possess good interpersonal skills enabling you to deliver an excellent service to the users.  Solid analytical and problem solving skills, along with a strong attention to detail are also important.  You must also be able to demonstrate initiative, drive, enthusiasm and flexibility. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast paced and increasingly fluid environment are essential.

Job details:

Full-time office based Monday to Friday

Hours of work:  8.45am to 5.30pm
